For a long time, Star Trek: Voyager felt like the Star Trek series most naturally suited for a proper survival strategy game. A lone Federation ship thrown 70,000 light-years from home, a crew forced to ration resources, repair damage, negotiate with unknown species, bend Starfleet ideals without completely breaking them, and keep morale alive while every shortcut carries a price.
